To match our virtual travel this month, we loved doing this rangoli craft! You can make this as simple or as intricate as your residents are able. Check out the history and significance in the video below, a great one to play at your community as well.
Significance of Rangoli in India
What you need:
- Our downloadable template
- Construction Paper
- Peanut Butter
- Various Bird Seed
To begin:
- Pick if you’re following our template or creating your own rangoli design.
- Use the peanut butter to line the design.
- Place the bird seed as you want. We didn’t have various colors but used chicken scratch for our Ybor chickens.
- Place outside to help feed your local wintering birds! You may need to tape or nail it down.
- For a more difficult mode, create the rangoli craft in the grass for the birds!
